Nick William Remias passed away Feb. 9, 2013.
Like his Father, Nick was born July 16, 1970, and raised in Chagrin Falls and went to school at Kenston High School.
Nick began working at a young age as a chef/cook and bartender at Rick's Café and later left Ohio, to live and work in places such as Jackson Hole, Wyo., Santa Barbara, Calif., and Breckenridge, Colo.
Nick loved music and loved playing the drums. While never taking formal lessons, Nick played with bands throughout his life. But mostly, Nick's greatest talents were friendship and laughter. He always made friends easily, was kind hearted, could find humor in just about anything, made people laugh, rolled with the punches, lived on the fly, was spontaneous, fun, charming, and did not have an evil bone in his body. Always willing to lend a helping hand, Nick was compassionate toward others and will be missed.
He is survived by his mother, Mary Ellen Hall; and siblings, Kathy Remias, Debbie Remias Farrow (her children, Jacob and Peter Farrow), and Richard Remias (wife, Karen) (and their children, Madeleine, Finnegan and William Remias).
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 16, 2013, at Stroud-Lawrence Funeral Home, 95 S. Franklin St., Chagrin Falls.
The family will receive friends 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 15, 2013, at the funeral home.
