Norma D. Reiser, 78, of Williston, formerly of Euclid, died Sunday, June 23, 2013, in the Luther Home of Mercy, Williston. Norma was born in Cleveland on May 25, 1935, to Elmer and Harriet (McCune) Reiser. She resided in Euclid, until she moved to Luther Home on Nov. 21, 1994.
Norma worked at Riverview Industries in Oak Harbor, for many years; a job she truly loved. She never wanted to miss work and looked forward to going every day. She had been a participant in the Special Olympics and won an award for her craft project at the Ottawa County Fair. Norma was dedicated to church and loved to sing all the favorite hymns. In her younger years she liked to roller-skate.
Norma has no immediate family, but is lovingly remembered by her guardian, Kathi Heim of Euclid, who took great care of her, along with all of the staff at Luther Home. Norma was preceded in death by her parents.
A funeral service for Norma will be 10 a.m., Wednesday, June 26, 2013, in the Luther Home of Mercy Chapel, 5810 N. Main St. Williston. Visitation will be in the Chapel from 8:30 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will be at 2 p.m. in the Knollwood Cemetery, Mayfield Heights.
The Robinson-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, 501 West St., in Genoa, is assisting with arrangements.
