Randy R. Sabin, 58, passed away Sunday, July 14, 2013. He was born April 20, 1955, in Muskegon, Mich., where he lived before moving to Mentor many years ago.
Mr. Sabin was a furnace technician at PCC Airfoils for many years.
A loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather with a passion for life, he lived true to the motto "work hard, play hard." He never turned down a chance for an adventure whether it was fishing, camping, or a whitewater rafting trip down the Gauley. He will be truly missed by all.
He is survived by his wife, Susan Sabin; children, Amanda (Kiran) Nair of Spring, Texas, Joshua Sabin of Cadillac, Mich., RaeAnn (Jason) Swantek of Traverse City, Mich., Austin (Stephanie) Sabin of Crestview, Fla. and Daniella Hillditch of Mentor; nine loving grandchildren; siblings, Emogene (Bob) Johnson, Daryl (Anne) Sabin, Richard (Dona) Sabin, Linda (Ben) Young, Bruce (Cookie) Sabin and Dennis (Karen) Sabin; and many nieces, nephews, sister-in-laws and other close family members.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Virginia Sabin.
Funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday at the Brunner Sanden Deitrick Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 8466 Mentor Ave., Mentor.
The family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
