Services for Raymond H. Nevling, 81, of Willoughby, will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 8, 2012, at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Ave., Willoughby.

Mr. Nevling passed away Friday, May 4, 2012, at his home.
Born June 26, 1930, in Smithmill, Pa., he has lived in Willoughby for the past 60 years.
He was a U.S. Navy veteran and was an active member and past trustee at the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 3605 in Mentor. He was also a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 6321 in Smithmill and the VFW Post in Painesville.
He was an avid Pittsburgh Steeler's fan, loved hunting and gardening and his beer. He will be greatly missed by his dogs, Hercules and Zeus.
Mr. Nevling was employed as a scale man at the former TRW Valve Division in Cleveland for 31 years. He retired in 1987.
Survivors are his wife of 36 years, Donna (Davis) Nevling; son, Adam (Kelly) Nevling Sr. and their sons, Adam Jr. and Aryn Patrick, all of Willoughby; sister, Kay Blue of Pennsylvania; and brother, Dennis (Nancy) Nevling of Altoona, Pa. He also leaves many nieces, nephews, cousins and their families.
His parents, Ai Raymond and Fedora (Delfosse) Nevling; brother, Arthur Nevling; and sister, Edith Houck are deceased.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, May 7, 2012, at the funeral home. Final resting place will be in Willoughby Memorial Gardens.
