Rebecca Jane (Ingley) Link Kline Obituary
Rebecca Jane (nee: Ingley) Link Kline, age 75 of Painesville, died on July 12, 2018 at her home.
She was born on January 11, 1943 in Painesville to the late Albert and Amy Ingley.
Becky lived in Painesville and Concord all of her life and was a graduate of Harvey High School and attended Mount Union College and Lake Erie College.
Becky served as General Manager of the Special Transportation Service, elderly and handicapped transportation system, prior to its becoming part of LakeTran. She also was the Executive Director of the Lake County Branch of the American Cancer Society for many years. Additional employments were at area hospitals serving as Director of Volunteer Services for UHHS Heather Hill, UHHS Geauga Regional Hospital and Lake Health. She was also the buyer for gift shops in the hospitals. She felt that working with volunteers was a rewarding job, learning about individual's families and life experiences.
Survivors are her husband, James Kline; children, Edward (Susan) Link, Amy (Michael) Sullivan, Debbie (Greg) Cimperman and Nick Link; step children, Lori (Dave) Goff, David Kline, Lisa (Charles) Hagan and Robert Kline; 22 grandchildren.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sister, Nancy Bartunek; and brother, Bert Ingley.
A memorial service and reception will be held on Saturday, July 21, 2018 at 11:00 AM at St. James Episcopal Church, 131 North State St., Painesville, Ohio 44077.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Hospice of the Western Reserve, 17876 St. Clair Ave., Cleveland, Ohio 44110-9915 or to St. James Episcopal Church.
