Richard Levak Obituary

A Celebration of Life service for Richard S. Levak, 63, of Eastlake, will be 8:30 p.m. Thursday at McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 6330 Center St. (Route 615, north of Route 2), Mentor.
Mr. Levak passed away Monday, Sept. 16, 2013, at Hospice House of the Western Reserve in Cleveland following a prolonged illness.
Born July 17, 1950, in Cleveland, he has resided in Northeast Ohio for most of his life, living in Lake County for the past 12 years in Eastlake.
Mr. Levak was a U.S. Army Vietnam veteran.
He was the brother of Matthew Levak, William Levak, Arlene Stevers, Janet Levak, Mary Cohen-Levak and Debbie Wrye; uncle of nieces and nephews; and the loving companion of Lynnetta Dellova. He also leaves many dear friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Olive (nee Dunlap) Levak.
Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Private interment will be in Perry Township Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Richard's name may be made to Hospice of the Western Reserve, 17876 St. Clair Ave., Cleveland, 44110, or St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
