Robert L. Spencer, 74, passed away Monday, July 15, 2013, at his home in Lyndhurst. Born May 17, 1939, in Kenton, he had lived in Lyndhurst for 46 years.
Robert was a chemical engineer in the rubber and tire industry. He was member of the Lyndhurst Dads' Club and a coach for more than 20 years. He was also a member of the Highland Sixth Church Choir for more than 30 years.
Survivors are his wife, Germaine (nee Leininger); children, Scott R. (Laura) of Twinsburg, and Jeffrey D. (Erin) and Christine S. (Dennis) Dombrosky both of Highland Heights; grandchildren, Neal (Mallori) Moodie, Corbin, Cameron, Courtney, James and Abigail Spencer and Linus, Casper and Dexter Dombrosky; two great-grandchildren; one niece; and four nephews.
Robert was preceded in death by his sister, Patricia Gardner Rogers.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, July 18, 2013, at the Schulte & Mahon-Murphy Funeral Home, 5252 Mayfield Road (between Richmond and Brainard), in Lyndhurst where friends may call Wednesday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 5 to 7 p.m. Burial will be in Lake View Cemetery in Cleveland.
