Robert M. Hardy, 71, of Willoughby and previously of Eastlake and Denver, Colo., passed away on July 21, 2013, at home surrounded by his family. He was born Feb. 2, 1942, in Dunbar, Pa.
Robert was a hard worker who enjoyed hunting and fishing. He loved helping people and caring for his family.
He was a mechanic for Caterpillar for over 30 years and a member of Local 1415 of the UAW.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Sarah (nee Jordan); daughter, Michelle (David) Yutzy; son, Robert Hardy; grandchildren, Robert Hartman and Dominick Stillisano; and sister, Rose Emma (Fred) Nothern.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents; six siblings; and his son, Ty Hardy.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Monreal Funeral Home, 35400 Curtis Blvd., Eastlake. Burial will be in Oak Lawn Cemetery, Uniontown, Pa.
