Funeral services for Robert M. Murnyack Sr., 83, will be 11 a.m. Thursday at the Painesville Assembly of God Church, 10949 Johnnycake Ridge Road, with Pastor Aaron Taylor officiating.
The Guest Book is expired.
Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Spear-Mulqueeny Funeral Home, 667 Mentor Ave., Painesville and from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday at the church.
Mr. Murnyack passed away Feb. 23, 2013, at TriPoint Medical Center in Concord Township.
The son of George and Elizabeth (Dudish) Murnyack was born Sept. 4, 1929, in Clarence, Pa.
Robert was a 37-year resident of Painesville Township and previously lived in Mentor. He had owned and operated Bob's Grinding Co., Inc. since 1971.
Bob served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War, was a member of the Painesville Assembly of God Church and he enjoyed golfing.
Survivors are his wife of 53 years, Shirley (Usoff) Murnyack; sons, Rob M. (Mary Ann) Murnyack Jr. of Willoughby Hills, Tom (Cheryl) Murnyack of Painesville, Jim (Nancy) Murnyack of Mentor, Dennis Murnyack of Madison and Patrick Murnyack of Euclid; daughters, Bonnie (Chris) Gallagher of Perry, Sharlene (Ken) Porz of Willoughby and Deanna Welch of Ozark, Mo.; 22 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; three brothers; and three sisters.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother; and two sisters.
Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.
