Funeral Services for Salvatore Aucelli, 95, of Willoughby, will be 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 8, 2013, at Davis Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Ave., Willoughby.
Mr. Aucelli passed away Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2013, at Mt. St. Joseph Nursing Home in Euclid with family by his side.
He was born July 15, 1918, in Torre del Greco, Italy.
Mr. Aucelli was a diesel mechanic for Conrail for 30 years, retiring in 1981.
He loved opera music, enjoyed biographies, loved to cook, woodwork and spending time with his family.
Survivors include his children, Teresa (James) Marschall of Mentor, Julia (Tim) Frederick of Eastlake, Ralph (Ann) Aucelli, Chris (Lisa) Aucelli; grandchildren, Marie, Anna, Abby, Jessica, and Nicole; great-grandson, Daniel; stepdaughter, Bonnie Heasley of Willoughby; dear friend, Jean Lynn of Willoughby; former-wife Hilda Aucelli.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Raffaele and Teresa Aucelli; 6 brothers and 1 daughter; special companion Betty Rospo.
Family will receive friends 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Entombment committal service 12:30 p.m. Friday at Rose Hill Burial Park, Mausoleum Chapel (please meet at chapel) 3653 West Market St., Fairlawn.
Family suggests contributions be made to the Salvation Army, 69 Pearl St., Painesville, OH 44077.
