1928 - 2012 Obituary Condolences
Stephen Glavosek, 84, of Dayton, Texas, died Monday, Oct. 29, 2012, at the San Jacinto Methodist Hospital-Alexander Campus in Baytown.
Stephen was born Jan. 22, 1928, in Painesville, to his parents, Stephen and Anna Dujam Glavosek.
Mr. Glavosek was a former resident of Chardon, and had resided in the Dayton, Texas area for the past 15 years. He was a graduate of the Fairport Harbor High School and the Allied School of Mechanical Trades.
He was a retired machinist for Coe Manufacturing Company and member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles. He also enjoyed playing golf, woodworking, gardening, and fishing.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, John, Frank, Paul, Joe, George, Carl and Mike Glavosek; and sister:, Anne Glavosek.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Ruth Simmons Glavosek of Dayton, Texas; daughters, Michele Piendcik of Willoughby, Susan (Leo) Theiss of Dayton, Texas, Patricia (Huck) Cameron of Painesville, Judy (Gary) Osmond of Chardon and Denise Brooker of Ark.; son, Stephen G. (Debbie) Glavosek of Deer Park, Texas; sister, Lillian (Robert) Slusser of Hernando, Fla.; 18 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A celebration of life will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 2, 2012, at the Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel.
