Sue Knox, 49, of Kirtland, died Sunday June 9, 2013, at Hospice House in Cleveland. She was born Nov. 23, 1963, in Painesville.
Mrs. Knox had worked in sales at Classic Toyota in Mentor.
Sue enjoyed spending time at her lake cottage in Conneaut with family and friends. She was an avid sea glass collector and intense Scrabble competitor, as her opponents will affirm.
A devoted mother of five including a set of twins, Sue was an active member of Northeast Ohio mothers of multiples. She was known for her ability to create any craft project out of any material for anyone.
Survivors include her children, Carly Neubert of Westlake, Clayton Neubert of San Diego, Calif., Jordan (Zakk) Vest of Madison, Sam Neubert of Thompson and Jake Knox of Kirtland; and brother, John Malkamaki of Madison.
Preceding Sue in death was her husband, Bruce R. Knox; and parents, Arnold and Marie Malkamaki.
The funeral service will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Brunner Sanden Deitrick Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 8466 Mentor Ave., Mentor.
The family will receive friends 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Inurnment will be in Mentor Cemetery, Mentor.
