Thomas A. Krupa Obituary
Thomas A. Krupa, age 66, of Mentor, suddenly passed away on Jan. 8, 2018.
He was born in Beaverdale, PA on September 16, 1951 to the late John and Margaret Krupa.
Thomas was the beloved husband of Marilyn E. Krupa (nee Telisman) for 41 years, the loving father of Matt (Kathy) Krupa, and Jen (Pat) McArthur, the proud grandfather of Michael McArthur and Ruby Krupa, the brother of Jackie (Mark) Prok, Paula (Tony) Nasca, Kathy (Jim) Davisson, brother-in-law of Marianne (Kevin Oppenborn) Telisman, Marcy Johns, Mark (Maria) Telisman, Francie Dill and Ed Margo, a son-in-law of Mary Telisman, and an uncle, great uncle, cousin, and friend to many more. He is also survived by his brother and sister by choice, Richard and Diana Harvey.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his siblings Donna Mae (John) Grubar, Peggy Lee Dill, Carol Margo, and John Krupa, his father-in-law Rudy Telisman, and his aunt and uncle, June and Bill Chulick.
Tom was an employee of Gale's Garden Center for 45 years. For a long time he had the honor of dressing up as Santa Claus for Gale's. Every Friday, Tom and Marilyn enjoyed their time at Bob Evans as part of the "Friday Morning Breakfast Club." Tom was also an active member at St. John Vianney Church. He loved American History, especially presidential history. He even had the honor of receiving a private tour of Air Force One at Andrews Air Force Base. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with the lights of his life, his grandchildren, Michael and Ruby. Tom was kind, gentle, and patient; A man who was never quick to judge anyone. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, January 12, 2018 at St. John Vianney Church, 7575 Bellflower Rd Mentor, OH 44060.
Family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, January 11, 2018 at Monreal Funeral Home, 35400 Curtis Blvd., Eastlake.
The family asks that any donation be made in Tom's honor, to St. John Vianney Parish.
