Services for Thomas Peter Hakli, 54, of Montville, will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 14, 2013, at the Potti Funeral Home, 1009 Mentor Ave., Painesville.
Mr. Hakli passed away on Sept. 3, 2013.
He was active in the YMCA, and had owned Hakli's Hauling in Montville. He also had worked at CSM in Euclid.
Tom was a hard-working man who would do anything for his family. An amazing father, grandfather and uncle, all felt loved in his presence. He enjoyed watching science fiction, playing poker and avidly went on road trips in his early years. If anyone needed a helping hand, he'd never hesitate to assist, even for strangers. Laughs and good times surrounded Tom. He was loved and will be greatly missed.
Survivors include his wife, Carolyn; daughters, Terri (Marc) Wagner and Brooke Hakli; son, Mark (Dina) Hakli; grandson, Caleb Wagner; sister, Diana Hogya; brother, Kenneth Hakli; and mother, June Laverne Hakli.
Calling hours are from noon to 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Officiating the services will be the Rev. Hannu Vepsalainen.
Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.
