Vaughn Paul Paynic, 67, of Painesville Township for the past five years, formerly of Mentor, died May 2, 2013 at his residence. He was born Aug. 26, 1945 in Cleveland.
Mr. Paynic had worked as a salesman at numerous local auto dealerships. He had been a vendor at the Perry Bargain Barn & Flea Market for the past several years. Mr. Paynic enjoyed fishing, was an avid outdoorsman, gun collector and a
U.S. Air Force
Survivors include his daughter, Michelle (Doug) Mekinda; grandchildren Jacob and Zachary Rittenberry; and many dear friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Martin and Ann Paynic; and brother Noel Paynic.
Family will receive friends 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, May 15, 2013, at Brunner Sanden Deitrick Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 8466 Mentor Ave., Mentor, OH 44060. Online obituary
