Walter J. Kostreba, 90, died Saturday, March 17, 2012.

He was born July 28, 1921, in Cleveland, the son of Alexander and Barbara (Borchert) Kostreba, he has been a resident of Euclid for over 60 years.
He proudly served in the U.S. Marine Corps during World War II, and participated in the Pacific victory at the battle at Guadalcanal.
He worked for more than 40 years for Addressograph-Multigraph.
On Jan. 20, 1945, he married Virginia G. Boley. He loved extensive travel and camping with his family across the United States, Canada and Mexico. He also enjoyed reading and crossword puzzles. His door was always open to friends and family.
He is survived by his loving family including his sons, Allan (Karen), Robert (Laura), Steven (Lori), and Brian (Lucy); grandchildren, Adam, Alina, Keely, Jacob, Stephanie, Steven and Breanna; two great-grandchildren; and his sister, Betty Cheraso.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and his wife, Virginia, in 2003.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, March 24, 2012, at Monreal Funeral Home, 35400 Curtis Blvd., Eastlake. Visitation will be held from 3 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Crossroads Hospice.
