William Howard Penny, 66, of Willoughby, passed away Friday, Aug. 30, 2013, at his residence.
Born Feb. 24, 1947, in Euclid, he had been a lifelong Lake County resident, living in Willoughby.
Mr. Penny worked for Harbor Companies where he was project manager and was Mr. Fix-It. He was a former member of Grand River Yacht Club and enjoyed classic cars, boating and fishing.
William was the beloved husband of Anita I. (McDonald) Penny; loving father of Delores L. (Richard) Allen of Georgia, Dana M. (Anthony) Lyons of Willowick and Gloria (Chad) Higgins of Willoughby; cherished grandfather of Kyle, Kerrin, Katherine, Katey, Alison, Aidan, Alayna and Bailey; brother-in-law of Carol Penny; and uncle of many.
He was preceded in death by his son, William H. Penny Jr.; parents, James H. and Evelyn D. (Miller) Penny; and brother, James Penny.
Family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 6330 Center St. (Route 615, north of Route 2), Mentor, where a Celebration of Life service will take place at 7:30 p.m. Burial will be private.
