William L. Morgan William L. Morgan, 72, of Montville, died Thursday, April 4, 2013, at Heather Hill in Chardon. He was born Feb. 6, 1941, in Cleveland, to Harvey J. and Beulah (Welch) Morgan. Bill retired from Worthington Precision Metals in 2006. His love was his family and coaching. He coached junior high football for the Ledgemont School District for 30 years and was involved in Montville Little League coaching for many years, following his son, Matthew through Senior League and coaching several all-star teams. He then coached senior high baseball at Ledgemont for two years. He was elected as Coach of the Year by the Geauga County Touchdown Club in 2008. Bill also enjoyed golfing, fishing, and when his family was growing up, camping. Bill is survived by his wife of almost 50 years, Mary Lou (Vaccariello) Morgan of Montville; two children, Rebecca (David) Baldwin of Montville and Matthew (Marie) Morgan of Newbury; grandchildren, Sarah, Michael, Mark, and MJ Morgan; and his sister, Linda (Bob) Sippola of Montville. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Robert. The family will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday, April 8, 2013, at The First Congregational Church of Claridon, in the Fellowship Hall, 13942 Mayfield Road (intersection of Mayfield and Claridon Troy Road). The Memorial Service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, at the church, followed by a luncheon. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be sent to the Scholarship Fund of First Congregational Church of Claridon, 13942 Mayfield Road, Huntsburg, OH 44046.
