Damian C. "Chris" Barrish, 58, passed away Feb. 15, 2014, at Lake Health West Medical Center in Willoughby.
A lifelong Lake County resident, he was born March 8, 1955, in Painesville, the son of Francis and Catherine (Goblowski) Barrish.
Chris graduated from Perry High School's Class of 1973, and also graduated from Lakeland Community College with a degree in electronics. Chris enjoyed computers and especially furthering his studies in electronic technology.
Chris was employed as an electronics technician for the former Life Clinic Co. in Mentor.
Survivors are his wife, Rosalie (Petkosek) Barrish, whom he married Aug. 12, 1978; daughter, Michelle (Benjamin) Szymanel of Painesville; mother, Catherine (Goblowski) Barrish of Perry; and brothers, Francis Keith (Wilma) Barrish of Madison, John Jeffrey Barrish and George Leland Barrish of Perry.
He was preceded in death by his father, Francis K. Barrish in 1994.
At Chris' request, there will not be calling hours or funeral services observed at this time.
