Glenn W. Gills, age 75, passed away Feb. 24, 2014, at his home in Eastlake.
Glenn was born April 28, 1938, in Cleveland and lived in Eastlake for the last 38 years.
Glenn was a Navy Veteran and a machinist for 40 years at Caterpillar retiring in 1985. The family would like to thank the Cleveland Clinic LVAD Team and Cleveland Clinic Hospice for all their loving care for Glenn.
Survivors are his wife, Janet (nee Housden); children, Denise (Bill) Waite, Sharon Tompkins, Renee (Rich) Rozic; grandchildren, Lindsay and Brandon Waite, Cassie and Joey Rozic; great-grandchildren, Kahli Guysinger; sister, Glenda Irvine; step siblings, Dennis Pinkozie, Ann Marie Post; half siblings, Alexander Phillips, James Phillips, Kathleen Dallner, Kelly Phillips.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Glenn and Jeanette; son-in-law, Kevin Tompkins; brother-in-law, Bob Irvine.
Funeral Service will be held 10 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 27 at Brickman Bros. Funeral Home, 37433 Euclid Ave., Willoughby, where family will receive friends Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Burial will be in Willoughby Memorial Gardens.
