Lois Ruth Rodville Obituary
Funeral Mass for Lois Ruth Rodville, 88, will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Immaculate Conception Church, 37940 Euclid Ave., Willoughby.
Mrs. Rodville passed away Feb. 23, 2014, at Hospice House in Cleveland.
Born April 24, 1925, in Cleveland, she had been a resident of Cleveland before moving to Lake County 47 years ago.
She loved to cook and bake, especially for her grandsons. She enjoyed her apple, peach and cherry trees and was a lover of animals. Lois was also a member of the TOPS group for 20 years.
She was the loving mother of Lois "Patti" Weigand and Barbara Glee (Jack) Nolan; cherished grandmother of John (Julie) Nolan III, Patrick (Victoria) Nolan and John Weigand; dear sister of Almira DiGiacomantonio; and aunt of many nieces and nephews. She leaves her special sister-in-law, Glenda Dougherty; a great-granddaughter on-the-way.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Albert Rodville; parents, George William and Almira G. (nee Linton) Dougherty; son-in-law, Thomas Weigand; sister, Catherine Brainard; and brother, James Dougherty.
Family will receive friends from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 38001 Euclid Ave., Willoughby. Burial will be in All Souls Cemetery in Chardon Township.
