"Together Again"
Mass of Christian Burial for Amelia Serdio, age 83, will be 9:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary Catholic Church, 242 North State Street, Painesville. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Spear-Mulqueeny Funeral Home, 667 Mentor Ave., Painesville.
Amelia was born on Sept. 19, 1930 in Brooklyn, N. Y. and passed away on Feb. 24, 2014 at Hospice of the Western Reserve in Cleveland. She was a Concord Twp. resident for many years.
Mrs. Serdio was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Past President of the Emblem Club Ladies auxilliary of the B.P.O.E. 549 in Painesville. She enjoyed cooking and baking, Reading, and Lunches with her friends.
A loving wife, mother, and grandmother, she is survived by her sons, Steven (Janice) Serdio of Mentor, Michael (Cecilia) Serdio of Painesville Twp.; grandchildren, Celeste, Heather, and Gina Serdio; and sister, Phyllis Del Vecchio of Long Island, N. Y.
She was preceded in death by her husband Henry in 2012; parents, Anthony and Clelia Montuori; sister, Jean Mc Grath; brother, Ralph Montuori.
Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery in Painesville.
