Nancy A. Johnson, 56 years young, of Willoughby, passed away Feb. 24, 2014, in Mentor.
Born March 15, 1957, in Painesville, she had been a resident of Willoughby for the past 20 years.
Nancy was a graduate of Willoughby South High School and Kent State University, a former librarian and cataloger at the public libraries in El Paso, Texas, Nashville, Tenn., Joliet, Ill., Fort Wayne, Ind., and The Ohio Western Reserve Historical Society. She loved books, birds, cats, guinea pigs, etc. Nancy was also a member of St. James Episcopal Church.
Survivors are her mother, Ann Johnson; and brothers, William, John and Mark Johnson. She was the aunt of Douglas and other nieces and nephews; and the niece and cousin of many.
Nancy was preceded in death by her father, Richard; and special friend, Michael.
Services will be 3 p.m. Saturday, March 1, 2014, at St. James Episcopal Church, 131 N. State St., Painesville.
In lieu of flowers, please donate to Diabetes or Lymphoma Research.
