Memorial services for Frank Tyneski Jr., 86, of Mentor, will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, May 3, 2014, at McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 6330 Center St. (Route 615, north of Route 2), Mentor. Please note change of time for service.
Mr. Tyneski passed away Wednesday, April 16, 2014, at Altercare of Mayfield Village.
Born May 12, 1927, in Greenville, Pa., he had been a resident of Lake County for 47 years, living in Mentor.
Frank was a veteran of the U.S. Army and a handyman with cars. He and his wife toured the Belgium Congo while on assignment with plant setups while working at Sherwin-Williams.
He was the beloved husband of 62 years to Alda F. (nee Gaggi) Tyneski; loving father of Jeffrey A. (Diane) Tyneski of Mentor, Ronald F. Tyneski of San Diego, Calif., Clare M. Pallas (fiancé, Robert Falkowski) of Akron, Tina L. (Nick) Diiorio of Highland Heights and Frank M. (Valerie) Tyneski of Austin, Texas; cherished grandfather of Nicole (Ben) Pearch, Ryan Pallas, Steven (Kristen) Tyneski and Nicholas Diiorio; great-grandfather of Clayton and Scarlet Pearch; and uncle of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank Sr. and Josephine Tyneski; and four brothers.
Family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, May 3, 2014, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Mentor Cemetery.
The family suggests donations in his name be made to Vitas Hospice, 600 East Granger Road, Suite 100, Cleveland, OH 44131.
