Mary Ellen Mullet Obituary
Mary Ellen Mullet, 81 of Burton Township, went home to be with Jesus on Wednesday morning, April 30, 2014.
She was born on April 7, 1933 in Plain City, Ohio, daughter of John and Lovina (Miller) Yutzy.
A member of the Maple View Mennonite Church in Burton since 1953, she was very active in the church functions. Mary married D. Ray Mullet at the Maple View Mennonite Church on June 18, 1955 and lived in this area over 60 years.
She was a Bus Driver for the Berkshire School District for 25 years and retired in 1992. Her hobbies included quilting, puzzles, flower gardening, and traveling, especially going to the Smoky Mountains. She loved playing games with the grand kids.
She will be missed dearly by her friends and family; her beloved husband D. Ray Mullet of 58 years; her loving children, Robert Mullet of Burton, David (Barb) Mullet Jr. of Middlefield, and Deborah Mullet of Mentor; six grandchildren, Mary Elizabeth (Richard) Larson, Amberlee Mullet, Michael Polson, Jacob Mullet, Esther Polson, and Sara Mullet; and one great grandchild, Xavier.
She is preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Wayne, Orris, and Ervin Yutzy; and three sisters, Betty Jane Yutzy, Tena Barkman, and Wilma Yutzy.
A Celebration of Life will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, May 3, 2014 at Maple View Mennonite Church, 14890 Burton Windsor Rd., Burton. Pastor Ernie Francis will officiate. Visitation will be held Friday, 5 to 9 p.m. at the Church. Burial will be at Maple View Cemetery.
