Oswald J. ""Ozzie"" Krebs, 82 of Madison, died on Monday, May 5, 2014, at his home.
He was born on July 25, 1931, in Cleveland to the late Henry and Christine (Soeder) Krebs.
Ozzie was a U.S. Army Veteran. He retired from Cleveland Wire Cloth in 1995. Previously, he had been employed at the W.S. Tyler Co. in Mentor.
Survivors are his wife, Rose (Saba) Krebs; four daughters, Cheryl Krebs of Eastlake, Lynn (Kerry) Krotz of Madison, Rebecca (Randy) Owoc of Madison, and Robin Myers of Madison; 12 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and sister, Anne Krebs of Madison.
He is preceded in death by his parents; son, Michael Krebs; brother, Tony; and sister, Rosemary Beach.
Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Johnson Funeral Home, 368 Mentor Ave., (opposite Lake Erie College) Painesville.
Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 10 at Immaculate Conception Church, 2846 S. Hubbard Rd., Madison. (Please meet at the church). Rev. Sean Donnelly will officiate. Burial will be at Arcola Cemetery, Madison.
