Charles F. Oakley age 76, of Mentor passed away on May 6,at his home after fighting Cancer.
He was born on Nov. 6, 1937, in Benten Harbor, MI.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Martha "Marty" Oakley; son, Robert Oakley (Tammy); and grandson, Dale of Stevensville, MI; sisters, Ethel (George) Huntley, Kay Minnie; brothers, John and Roy Oakley; step children, Kenneth Gmitra of Chepachet, RI, Raymond Gmitra of Hatfield, PA, Aldena (Andre) BeQuillard of Lakeland, FL, Douglas Moody of St. Clairsville;
Chuck enjoyed fishing, golf and bowling. He was a member of VFW 9295, Amvets 109, and Eagles Post 9500.
He worked for Volvo and Luberquipt as a CAD designer.
