Graveside services and interment for Francis R. Satava, 76, of Kirtland, will be 10 a.m. Thursday, June 12, 2014, at South Kirtland Cemetery on Chillicothe Road in Kirtland.
Mr. Satava passed away Friday, June 6, 2014, at Wickliffe Country Place.
Francis was born June 24, 1937, in Willoughby, he was a lifelong Kirtland resident.
He was a United States Army veteran. He was a Cleveland Indians fan, enjoyed playing pinochle and eating strawberries.
Mr. Satava was employed as a supervisor at the former Ardac Manufacturing in Eastlake for 30 years.
Survivors are his wife of 48 years, Shirley (Frederick) Satava; sons, Dan and Dale Satava; grandchildren, Kate and Alex Satava; and his cousins, Larry and Alan Satava, all of Kirtland.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Rose (Hunkin) Satava; and brothers, Bill, Jim and Sam Satava.
There will be no calling hours.
Arrangements entrusted to Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, Willoughby.
