Funeral Mass for Thomas E. Yanko, 83, of Wickliffe, will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 29840 Euclid Ave., Wickliffe.
Mr. Yanko passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday, June 10, 2014.
He was born March 3, 1931 in Adah, Penn.
Thomas was a loving and devoted husband, married for 54 years, father and grandfather.
He was a corporal in the U.S. Marine Corps and an employee of General Motors for 35 years.
Thomas was the beloved husband of Carmella (nee Petrella) Yanko; loving father of Donna (Shane) Cook and Carla Yanko; cherished grandfather of Adam Cook and Thomas Bellomo Jr.; brother of Joseph (Elaine) Yanko; and uncle of many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Michael and Elizabeth (nee Uhranchek) Yanko; and siblings, John Yanko, Michael Yanko, Mary Jarotsky, Elizabeth Kreslin, Ann Nobora and Josephine Miller.
Family will receive friends at the McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 38001 Euclid Ave., Willoughby, 4-8 p.m. Friday. Burial will be at Willoughby Memorial Gardens, Willoughby.
