Gilbert E. Nadeau, 88, of Wickliffe, passed away July 21, 2014 at Hillcrest Hospital in Mayfield Heights.
He was born Sept. 23, 1925 in Providence, R.I. He had lived in Wickliffe for 58 years.
Mr. Nadeau was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church. He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during WWII.
He is survived by his sons, James, Terry (Connie) and Robert (Holly); nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and brothers, Robert and Richard.
He was preceded in death by his wife, June (McNerney), who died in 2011; sons, William who died in 1996, and Gilbert who died in 1998.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:30 a.m. Friday, July 25, 2014 at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 29850 Euclid Ave., Wickliffe.
Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, July 24, 2014 at the Orlando-Donsante Funeral Home, 2955 Euclid Ave., Wickliffe. Burial will be in All Souls Cemetery, Chardon Twp.
