Sharon F. Karmine Obituary
Sharon F. Karmine
Sharon Furn Karmine, 67, of Ashtabula Township, passed away Friday, July 4, 2014, at her home following a 3 ½ year battle with cancer.
The daughter of Arnold Wilbur and Olive Kathleen (Sandy) Arnett, she was born August 2, 1946, in Painesville and had been an Ashtabula resident for the past 11 years.
Prior to her retirement, Sharon worked as a Bus Aide and Attendant for Ashcraft and the Ashtabula County Board of DD.
A Christian by faith, she enjoyed plants, gardening, and flowers (especially roses) and was a devoted Cleveland Indians fan watching every game she could catch on television. But what she really loved most was spending time with her family and friends.
She survived by her children, Dawn (William III) Choate of Conneaut and Guy (Michelle) Gifford of Chardon; seven grandchildren, Jennifer, William IV, Elizabeth, Amy, Sierra, Hailey, and Hunter; two great-grandchildren, Hannah and Kalea; two brothers, Daryl (Mel) Arnett of Painesville and Edward Case of Perry; and one sister, Vivian (Ernest) Bystrom of Painesville.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Orlen and Alvin Arnett; and her parents.
At her request, no services will be held at this time. She will be laid to rest with her brother, Orlen, in Perry Cemetery at a later date.
Contributions may be made to Hospice of the Western Reserve or St. Jude Children's Hospital.
