Memorial services for Karen L. Toocheck, 50, of Willoughby, will be 5 p.m. Saturday at The Abbey of Willoughby, 38011 Euclid Ave., Willoughby (located on the grounds of McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home in Willoughby). The Rev. Troy Elam will officiate.
Mrs. Toocheck passed away July 20, 2014, at her residence.
Born Aug. 3, 1963, in Allegheny County, Pa., she had been a Lake County resident for 35 years, living in Willoughby.
Karen was a member of the Carpenters Local 345. She loved gardening, crafts, wine tasting and enjoyed cooking, calling herself a "Foodie."
She was the beloved wife of Mark Hunsaker of Willoughby; loving mother of Katie J. Maier of Willoughby; stepmother of Travis Hunsaker of Concord Township and Matthew Hunsaker of Cleveland Heights; cherished grandmother of Danni M. Eberlin and Emery G. Thomas; daughter of Gerri (nee Schutz) Toocheck; sister of Lisa J. Toocheck of Meadville, Pa., Laura Ann (Eddie) Arnold of Roaming Shores and Craig A. (Debra Ann) Toocheck of Trafford, Pa.; sister-in-law of Paul Hunsaker of Guilford, Conn., and Isobel Pardo of Riverside, Calif.; niece of Donna (nee Schutz) Humes of Greensburg, Pa.; mother-in-law of Danielle C. Thomas of Cape Coral, Fla.; aunt of Rachel Arnold, Chris Arnold, Craig Toocheck and Cory Toocheck.
She was preceded in death by her father, Arthur J. Toocheck.
Family will receive friends from 3 to 5 p.m. Saturday at The Abbey of Willoughby.
In lieu of flowers, Karen's request was that you plant a perennial in your garden and she will check on it for you in the spring.
