John C. Humbert, age 84, of Mentor, passed away Friday August 1, 2014, at Governor's Village in Mayfield.
He was born June 23, 1930, in Cleveland.
A U.S. Army veteran who served in the Korean War, John worked for Harrington Electric for many years prior to his retirement.
Survivors are his wife of 54 years, Irene; son, John (Lisa) Humbert; and his granddaughter, Kayla.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ilio and Louise Humbert.
Funeral mass will be held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, at St. John Vianney Church, 7575 Bellflower Rd., Mentor, OH 44060.
The family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m., Monday, at the Brunner Sanden Deitrick Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 8466 Mentor Ave., Mentor, OH 44060. Interment will be at All Souls Cemetery, Chardon.
