William D. "Bill" Crowley, age 55, of Munson Twp., died Aug. 2, 2014, at home.
He was born Feb. 19, 1959, in Cleveland, to William T. and Marian (nee: Kish) Crowley, he had been a longtime area resident.
Bill had been with the Chardon Fire Department since 1986, most recently as the Chardon Fire Inspector.
He had also been with the Kirtland, Willoughby Hills and Mayfield Village Fire Departments. Bill attended and worked as Program Director for Camp Ho Mita Koda. He was very active with the Chardon Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie #2261, serving on the board and Past President.
Survivors include his wife, Laure (nee: Kundrat), of Munson Twp; children, Giovanni and Kelsey of Munson Twp; sister, Mary Catherine (David) McCarty of Cincinnati; and extended family.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Memorial Service will be at 8 p.m., Friday, August 8, 2014, at the Burr Funeral Home, 116 South Street (On Rt. 44, 500' south of Rt. 6/Chardon Square), Chardon.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m., Friday, at the funeral home.
Private family burial will take place.
Donations suggested to the family to assist with final expenses.
