Shirley Grace Fleming Dalessio was born to John W. and Katherine Bailey Fleming December 9, 1936, in Sagamore, Pa. She was a proud graduate of Shannock Valley High School, Yatesboro, Pa., in May 1954.
Shirley married Frank J. Dalessio June 22, 1957, recently celebrating 57 years of marriage. Moving to Willoughby from Cleveland in 1961, and settling in Ridge Acres, they have been long time parishioners of Immaculate Conception Church. Shirley was an amazing cook, baker, and seamstress. She enjoyed bingo, counted cross-stitch, and crossword puzzles. In later years, she became an active member of the Red Hat Society and Willoughby Senior Center.
Shirley and Frank have three daughters, Denise (Jeff) Andrews, Sharon (John Ross) Augustitus and Tracy (Ernie) Finch; she gave loving care to her seven grandchildren, Melissa Andrews, Megan (Dan) Schueren, Ryan, Kyle, and Sarah Augustitus and Riley and Molly Finch; and survived by her siblings, Eleanor McGara, Dorothy Rowe, Patricia Saliga, Phyllis Cessna, George Fleming, Richard Fleming, Joseph Fleming and James Fleming.
She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Robert Fleming; sisters, Betty Nesbit and Ida Richards; and son-in-law, Robert Augustitus.

Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Thursday, August 7, 2014, at the Monreal Funeral Home, 35400 Curtis Blvd., Eastlake, Ohio 44095.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, August 8, 2014, at Immaculate Conception Church in Willoughby and laid to rest at the Willoughby Memorial Gardens.
