Family, friends and co-workers are asked to join in the celebration of John's life. Visitation will be on Saturday, August 9, 2014 from 2 to 5 p.m. and Sunday, August 10, 2014, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Monreal Funeral Home, 35400 Curtis Blvd., Eastlake.
Funeral Mass will be 10 am Monday, August 11, 2014, at St. Noel's Church, 35200 Chardon Rd., Willoughby Hills. Interment at All Souls Cemetery, Chardon.
John was born on July 2, 1944, in Euclid. He lived in Willoughby Hills for the past 46 years. John passed away surrounded by his loved ones on August 5, 2014.
John was always working hard or spending time with his family. He enjoyed being in the great outdoors, especially camping, making sure his camper was always clean and ready for the next adventure. John loved golf, as well as running the St. Noels golf league for many years. After retiring as a union carpenter of Local 435, he continued on as a building manager. His family meant the world to him. All he ever wanted, was to see them happy. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle, cousin and friend who will be dearly missed.
Survivors are his wife, Barbara (Vrh) of 47 years; children, Kim (Tim) Rowan, Dawn (Steve) Crevda, John (Denice) and Lyndsey (Matthew) Formica; grandchildren, Stefani, Melissa, Nicholas, Joshua, Ian, Jennifer, Sydney, Nathan, Arianna and Gionni; his siblings, Margaret Grzincic, Mary Ann Edwards and Joseph (Tina) Grzincic; his aunt Annie Romash; and his in-laws, Sandy (Rocque) Trem and James Vrh,
He was preceded in death by his father John and mother Mary (Gregorc).
