Allen William Sahadi Obituary
Funeral services for Allen William Sahadi, 47, of Willoughby, will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at The Abbey of Willoughby, 38011 Euclid Ave., Willoughby (located on the grounds of McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home in Willoughby). Pastor Dale Diggs of New Promise Church in Kirtland will officiate the service.
Mr. Sahadi passed away Thursday, Aug. 7, 2014, at Louis Stokes Cleveland Veteran's Hospital in Cleveland.
Born June 16, 1967, in Lakewood Township, N.J., he had been a Lake County resident for 20 years, living in Chester Township and Chardon Township before moving to Willoughby.
He was a U.S. Navy veteran and a recipient of the Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal. Allen was also a member of the Chardon V.F.W., loved camping, hunting, barbequing, the outdoors and family get-togethers, and enjoyed classic rock. He was proud of his Christian faith and attended New Promise Church in Kirtland.
Mr. Sahadi was a former bricklayer and member of B.A.C. Local 5. He was working as an L.P.N. at Heather Hill and Heartland of Mentor Assisted Living Centers.
He was the loving father of Kaitlin A Sahadi of Kirtland; stepfather of Amanda (nee Toth) Shumney and Lauren Toth; beloved son of Mitchell Sahadi of Arizona and Judy (Bob) Harrell of Warren; dear brother of Mitchell Sahadi of Willoughby, Gabriel (Beth) Sahadi of Arizona, Ann (Jeff) Newman of Arizona and Carrie Brown Kipp of Pennsylvania; uncle of Mitch, Justin, Jacob, Tiffany and Bella; former husband of Shannon Anderson; Godfather of Noelle Baker.
Family will receive friends from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday at The Abbey of Willoughby. Interment will be 2 p.m. Monday at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman.
