Obituary Condolences

Nola A. Popik, age 48, of Huntsburg Twp., died Aug. 7, 2014 at home.
Her favorite pastime was fishing.
She is the beloved wife of Brian Cushnyr, mother of Amanda Auletta and stepmother of Becky (Louie) Niksick. Most loved grandmother of John Calvetta, Drew Parker and Douglas Niksick.
Sadly, she leaves behind her parents, Penny (nee: Przybylski) Popik of Mayfield Hts. and Robert (Sharon) Popik of North Fort Myers, Fla.; sisters, Norah (Joe) Ginty and Annie (Nick) Caudill; grandmother, Dee Przybylski; niece and nephew, Victoria and Aedan Ginty; wonderful aunts and uncles, Virginia (Grant) Coyle, Gloria (Len) Gasek, Mari Lou (Thomas) Majewski, Glenna Przybylski, Hank (Kathleen) Przybylski and Albert Popik; cousins, Nikki, Amy, Bethany, Ian, Sara, Kirk, Jessica; special friends, Al Kralik, Debby Kilby, Dennis and Paulette Paradise.
Nola was preceded in death by her grandparents, Victoria and Henry Przybylski, Anna and George Popik; stepson, Brian Cushnyr, Jr.; and uncle, Richard Popik.
Nola had a soft spot for all manner of strays, whether you had fur, fins or feet, if you were in need, she was your girl. Knowing her made for an interesting life's ride.
Funeral Service will be Monday, Aug. 11, 2014, from 11a.m., at the Burr Funeral Home, 116 South Street (On Rt. 44, 500' south of Rt. 6/Chardon Square) Chardon. Burial will follow at East Claridon Cemetery.
Friends may call from 9 to 11 a.m., Monday, at the funeral home.
Donations suggested to the Cleveland Animal Protective League, 1729 Willey Avenue Cleveland, OH 44113.
