Clorinda "Corky" Mihalek, age 84, of Willowick, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 12, 2014.
She was born in Cleveland on April 29, 1930, to the late Santo and Josephine Santelli.
Corky was a proud member of the Italian Sons and Daughters Club at Fidelia Lodge for many years. She worked and met many people while working at the Olive Branch for over 10 years. Most of all, Corky loved spending time with her family and friends. She was a proud and loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and aunt who will be greatly missed by many.
Corky is survived by her loving daughters, Patti (Rick) Marucci, Diane (Tom) Janes, Denise (Frank) Klima, Roberta Kelbach; her grandchildren, Michael (Angie), Erica, Marissa (Jason), Ashley (Nate), Alexis (Glenn), Frank, David, and Allie; her great-grandchildren; her brother Rinaldo (Mary) Santelli; and many family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, of 40 years, Robert "Bob" Mihalek, and her son John Mihalek.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, Aug. 18, 2014 at 11 a.m. at St Mary Magdalene Church, 32114 Vine St., Willowick.
Visitation will be on Sunday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Monreal Funeral Home, 35400 Curtis Blvd., Eastlake.
