Obituary Condolences

John Szymczyk, age 90, of Parma Heights, passed away Monday, August 25, 2014.
He was born in Courcelles, France, on September 14, 1923, to the late Pierre and Sophia Szymczyk.
John was a proud volunteer for the US Army. He also held many positions throughout his life including being a sales representative and manager for John Deer, an auto technician, and a tools salesman for the last 15 years of his career. He was a proud and loving father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, who will be greatly missed by many.
John is survived by his loving children, Jeanette Sulak, Judith (Joseph) Slovenec and Edwin Szymczyk; his grandchildren, Jodie (Jeff) Lyons, Catherine (Curtis) Posner, Holly (Christopher) Sadowski, David (Tiffany) Sulak, Trisha, Jesse, Anna, Luke and Caleb Slovenec, and his great-grandchildren, Cameron, Bryce, Tristan, Aiden, Logan, Lyra, Brendan, Haley, Josie, and Lily.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Mary Szymczyk; and his brothers, Bruno and Peter Szymczyk.
A Memorial Service will be held at 12 p.m. Friday August 29, 2014, at the Monreal Funeral Home, 35400 Curtis Blvd., Eastlake.
Visitation will also be on Friday from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the funeral home.
