Obituary Condolences

Wesley Wilfred Holderman A Celebration of Life service for Wesley Wilfred Holderman, age 85, of Huntsburg, will be 11 a.m. Friday, November 19, at Huntsburg Congregational Church, 12435 Madison Road, Huntsburg. Mr. Holderman passed away Tuesday morning, Nov. 16, 2010, at his residence. He was born May 29, 1925, in Barberton, to John Wesley and Ann (Rajniak) Holderman. Wesley was a U.S. Navy World War II veteran, serving from 1943 to 1946 in the Pacific Theatre. He married Marilyn Adams in 1973, lived 11 years in Huntsburg, coming from Burton where he lived 26 years. Mr. Holderman was a truck driver for more than 30 years until 1983 and worked 12 years in maintenance at Geauga County Fairgrounds. A member of Huntsburg Congregational Church, he was active with the church activities and was a former church trustee. His hobbies included jigsaw puzzles, playing cards, traveling and enjoying ballroom dancing. He will be missed by his friends and loving family: his wife of 37 years, Marilyn; his children, Barbara (Jerome) Reynolds of Painesville, Brenda (Tom) Ciomek of Garland, Texas, Wesley (Kathy) Holderman Jr., of Parma and Becky (John) Busch of North Charleston, S.C.; nine grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Eleanor Bauer of Medina, Donna Rusticelli of Parma, Marlene Gunter of Sandston, Va., Sharon (Pat) Parrotta of Sheffield Lake, and Linda Kahoun of Cleveland; brothers, Milton (Clara) of Bedford, Dale (Marlene) of Stow, Dennis (Linda) of Medina; and brother-in-law, Ronald Vales of Medina. He was preceded in death by his parents; two grandsons; one granddaughter; brothers, Edward and Franklin; and sisters, Gloria Vales and Charlotte Holderman. Visitation will be Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Russell Funeral Service, 15670 W. High St. (Route 87), Middlefield. The Rev. Dr. Robert Barber will officiate at services.
