Joseph Andrew Gribble, 67, of Chardon, passed away April 22, 2011, at Wade Park VA Hospital in Cleveland.
Born July 31, 1943, in Uniontown, Pa., Joe had resided in Chardon for the past 25 years. He previously lived in Tennessee.
Joe was a U.S.
veteran and served proudly in Vietnam. He was a lifetime member of the DAV. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family.
Survivors are his wife, Linda of Chardon; daughters, Brinda (Bill) Cheraso of Chardon, Trisha (Jeff) Wakeley of Newbury, Tamara (Bob) Gribble of Mentor-on-the-Lake, Hope Toth of Mentor and Faith Egger of Mentor; 14 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; sisters, Edna (Fritz) Murfello of Chester Township and Vicki (Steve) Hartsek of Uniontown, Pa.; brothers, Gilbert (Judy) Gribble of Conesus, N.Y., and Thomas (Iris) Gribble of Spokane, Wash.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Gilbert and Gertrude (Paul) Gribble; and sisters, Darlene Gribble and LeaRay Vail.
Funeral services will be held 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 26, 2011, at Burr Funeral Home, 116 South St., Chardon.
Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
