Marcia A. (nee Svacil) Greaves passed away peacefully Friday, May 4, 2012, surrounded by her family.
Marcia resided in Kirtland for the last 43 years where she raised all of her children. She was very active in the Kirtland Football Moms when her boys played football.
After her children had grown up, Marcia decided to obtain her commercial driver's license in order to serve her community by driving a school bus for Kirtland City Schools. She excelled in providing complete safety with passion in her care for others' children for 10 years until her retirement in 1998.
Marcia above all loved to spend time with her large extended family, numerous friends and will be greatly missed by all. Her love of the Lord, commitment to charity and sense of humor were inspirational.
She was the beloved wife of Rick; loving and adored mother of Joseph (Pattie), Nicholas, David, James, Richie and Angela; devoted sister of Dorothy (Bob) May, James (Linda) Svacil; sister-in-law of Ken Bieniek; and dearest cousin, aunt, grandmother and great-grandmother to many.
She was preceded in death by her dear parents, James and Lorena Svacil; her cherished children, Richard and Michael; and her sister, Nancy Bieniek.
Mass of Christian Burial, will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 8, 2012, at Divine Word Catholic Church in Kirtland. Father Dave Woost will officiate.
Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday, May 7, 2012, at the McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 38001 Euclid Ave., Willoughby. Interment will be at All Souls Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to Hospice of the Western Reserve, 17876 St. Clair Ave., Cleveland, OH 44110.
