Funeral services for Andrew M. Mascella, 76, of Willoughby, will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 25, 2012, at the Orlando-Donsante Funeral Home, 29550 Euclid Ave., Wickliffe.

Mr. Mascella passed away Friday, July 20, 2012, at Hospice of the Western Reserve.
Born Nov. 16, 1935, in New Salem, Pa., he had lived in Cleveland before moving to Willoughby 45 years ago.
Andrew was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean War. He was a member of American Legion Post 214, the Hungarian Club of Fairport Harbor, and the St. Stephens Byzantine Catholic Church. He was an avid Cleveland sports fan.
Mr. Mascella had been employed at the General Motors Fisher Body plant for 35 years before retiring in 1990.
Survivors are his son, Andrew A. Mascella Jr.; daughter Colleen A. (David) Smith of Virginia; brothers, Steven (Mary Jane) Mascella and John (Priscilla) Mascella; sisters, Helen Bobak, Margaret Dursa and Dolores (Jim) Hollister; and many nieces and nephews. He was the doting grandfather of Amanda J. Smith, whom he loved to tell stories; and was a father figure to many others who addressed him as ""Mr. M.""
He was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn J. (Santorelli) Mascella, who passed away in 1994; and sons, Mark A. and Gregory M. Mascella.
Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be at All Souls Cemetery in Chardon Township.
