Marion A. "Mack" Koszewski Obituary
Marion A. ""Mack"" Koszewski, 82, of Painesville Township, died Thursday, Oct. 18, 2012, at Tri-Point Medical Center, Concord Township.
Mr. Koszewski was born Feb. 27, 1930, in Cleveland, where he lived until moving to Painesville Township 12 years ago.
Mack was a retired Cuyahoga County engineer. Before that, he was a retired chief deputy for the Cuyahoga County Sheriff Office. He was the founder of ""Knight Life"" magazine and the Strojny Studio in Slavic Village.
Mr. Koszewski was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps., serving as an aerial photographer during the Korean War era. He enjoyed mycology, was a member of the NRA and an avid outdoorsman.
Mack is survived by his children, Michael (Lynda) Koszewski of East Claridon, Patt Bowen of Perry, Mark Koszewski of North Royalton and Christopher (Kathy) Koszewski of North Royalton; grandchildren, Sarah (Dan) Bigley, Kim, Dan, Jedediah, Jacob and Joshua Koszewski, and Holly, Amber and Eric Bowen; and three great-grandchildren, Conner, Brooke and Bridgette.
Preceding Marion in death was his wife, Mildred D. Koszewski; son, David Koszewski; parents, Adam and Apolania Koszewski; and brothers, Joseph and Walter Koszewski.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday at Brunner Sanden Deitrick Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 8466 Mentor Ave., Mentor.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, Rittman.
