"Joyce" (nee Leonard)

Margaret "Joyce" (nee Leonard) Sipari, 90, of Lyndhurst, passed away Nov. 19, 2012, in Cleveland.
Born Aug. 29, 1922, in Moline, Ill., she had lived in Evansville, Ind., before moving to Lyndhurst in 1958.
She was a
veteran of World War II, a retired registered nurse and homemaker. Joyce was active at Tri-City Consortium in South Euclid, where she would volunteer to take blood pressure readings.
She loved to listen to big band music and spend time with her kids and grandkids. Her family remembers her as funny, very kind, big-hearted, compassionate and possessing a great sense of humor.
Survivors are her son, David (Rose) of Bangkok, Thailand; daughters, Nanette Woldin of South Euclid and Laura Sipari (husband, Albert Edelman) of Rock Creek; grandchildren:, Megan Blubaugh (husband, Robert) and Emily Savage (husband, Clay); and great-grandchild, Maggie. She was also the dear aunt and great-aunt of many.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ross; and brother, William Leonard.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 24, 2012 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 6850 Mayfield Road, Gates Mills. Burial will follow at Knollwood Cemetery.
Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Joyce from 2 to 4 and 5 to 8 p.m. Friday At DeJohn-Flynn-Mylott Funeral Home of South Euclid, 4600 Mayfield Road (just east of Green Road).
The family suggests contributions be made in Joyce's memory to Hospice of the Western Reserve, 17876 St. Clair Ave., Cleveland, OH 44110 or to Little Sisters of the Poor, 4291 Richmond Road, Cleveland, OH 44122.
