Tribute Service for Paul A. Marks Sr., 81, a 47-year resident of Chardon, previously of Middlefield, will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2013, at The DeJohn Funeral Home and Crematory of Chardon (formerly Ritondaro), 126 South St. (Route 44, south of Route 6/Chardon Square).
Mr. Marks passed away peacefully, surrounded by loved ones Saturday, Jan. 19, 2013.
Paul worked for many years as a truck driver. He most enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and looked forward to ""his rewards."" Paul is described by his family as funny, jolly and a great storyteller. He was a
Paul is survived by his children, Paul (Heidi) Marks II and Rhonda (Stuart) Rayl, whom he raised on his own; his adored grandchildren, Sami, Chrissy, Dave, Stuart, Danny, Hannah, Jessi, Joey and Jeremy; and brothers, Glenn and Donald Marks.
Mr. Marks was preceded in death by his parents, Ruth (Wagner) and Harry Marks; and siblings, Harry Marks Jr., Frances Skeels, Edith Koller and Daniel Marks.
Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Paul from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Cremation by DeJohn Crematory will follow the service.
