Dorothy L. "Dot" Woeckner, 92, of North Canton, formerly of Mentor, died Friday, Feb. 1, 2013, at Mercy Medical Center in Canton.

She was born Sept. 22, 1920, in Cleveland.
Mrs. Woeckner was a retired assembler for General Motors (GM) at the former Coit Road plant. She was a member of Little Flower Catholic Parish in Canton and a former member of St. Mary of the Assumption Church in Mentor. She enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Survivors include her daughters, JoAnn (Bob) Ambros of The Villages, Fla. and Gayle (David) DeBraccio of Port Charlotte, Fla.; four grandchildren, Bill Ambros, Sandy (Mark) Burnett, Wendee Burnette and Holly (Matt) Hopkins; 13 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; and was loved by many nieces and nephews.
Dot was preceded in death by her husband, Norman H. Woeckner; parents, Patrick and Mary Masterson; six sisters; and one brother.
Funeral Mass will be noon Tuesday at St. Mary of the Assumption Church, 8560 Mentor Ave., Mentor.
The family will receive friends from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at Brunner Sanden Deitrick Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 8466 Mentor Ave., Mentor. Interment will be in Mentor Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Little Flower Catholic Church, 2040 Diamond St. N.E., Canton, OH 44721.
