Ashley E. Hollander, 32, of Mentor, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2013, at University Hospital in Cleveland.
She was born Nov. 25, 1980, in Camp Hill, Pa.
Ashley was a nurse for the Lake County Board of DD and Governor's Point in Mentor.
Ashley graduated from Mentor High School in 1999. She attended Ohio State University and Prince of Peace Church in Mentor. Ashley believed that, "A good life is a collection of happy moments." She cherished the time spent with those close to her. She was creative, kind and generous.
Survivors are her parents, Diana L. Hollander of Mentor and George E. Hollander of Pittsburgh, Pa.; brother, Ryan (Tina) Hollander of Mentor; maternal grandparents, Doug and Joan Grose of Mentor; aunts, Nancy (Pete) Grendze, Amy (Gary) Smith and Ainslie (Chris) Reschke, all of Mentor; niece, Hannah Piscalko; nephew, Noah Hollander; and cousins, Dr. Emily (Shay Davis) Lenning, Brandon Grendze, Alexandra Reschke and Victory Smith.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, George and Vi Hollander.
Memorial services will be held 7 p.m. Saturday at the Prince of Peace Church, 7193 Reynolds Road, Mentor.
The family will receive friends from 3 to 7 p.m. Saturday at the church.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Ashley's memory in care of the family.
Arrangements are entrusted to the Brunner Sanden Deitrick Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Mentor.
