Louis P. Takacs, age 93, of Mentor, died Feb. 1, 2013, at Cardinal Woods Skilled Nursing and Rehab in Madison. |
He was born Aug. 13, 1919, in Bethlehem, Pa.
Mr. Takacs had been a member of the Ashlar Masonic Lodge, Scottish Rite, Al Koran Shrine and of the Hungarian Club in Hiram. He was also a U.S. Army veteran.
Survivors include his daughter, Suzanne (Edward) Dubeansky of Mentor; three sons; 12 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary, who died April 27, 2012.
A memorial service will be held 6:30 p.m. Monday, March 4, 2013, at Mentor United Methodist Church, 8600 Mentor Ave., Mentor, OH 44060.
The family will receive friends for light refreshments and fellowship following the service in the church hall.
